Submissions

Elm takes pride in its edgy writing style, and is open to publishing intelligent writers who have an interesting perspective on sexuality. Please be familiar with all the articles on our site before you decide to submit anything. Fifty percent of Elm is freelance written, and we respond within two weeks to queries.

Submission Do’s:

•    Please send unsolicited submissions via e-mail.
•    Send one-page query letters with a brief bio.
•    3-5 previously published articles.
•    Fiction, photography, articles and essays.
•    Photographers please send a maximum of 10 photos in jpeg format.
•    Submit your query in the body of an email.
•    Send any attachments in .doc or format, or in the body of an email.
•    We accept sequential art: illustrations, photography, infographics and other visual art.

Submission Don’ts:

•    We do not accept previously published work.
•    Please do not send porn, or any writing with sexually obscene material.
